Job Title: Clean Energy Strategy and Research Intern

Location: New York City, NY (Remote Work Environment)

Duration: 3-month full time internship or 6 month part time internship with potential for extension

Job Overview:

ReDocs is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clean Energy Strategy and Research Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a student who is passionate about sustainable building practices and renewable energy solutions. The intern will contribute to research and strategy development projects aimed at integrating clean energy technologies into our clients' operations, enhancing their compliance with environmental regulations, and improving their operational efficiency. You will be working directly with our executive team getting a wealth of hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Innovation and Tech Integration: Explore and propose ways to integrate innovative technologies such as IoT, AI, and renewable energy systems into existing building infrastructure to boost compliance and operational efficiency.

Operations and Internal Support: Work with the executive team and account managers in order to assist with internal support and operations.

Customer Support: Assist account managers and the customer support team in client interactions.

Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on the latest trends, technologies, and policies in clean energy, especially as they relate to the building and construction sector. Analyze data to identify potential opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and sustainability.

Strategy Development: Work alongside senior strategists to create actionable plans that align with client goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor s or Master s program in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy Management, Business, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis with a keen interest in clean energy and sustainable practices.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the building sector is a plus.

Must meet NYSERDA Standards:

You must either be:

An individual currently attending or who attended a degree program at a college or university, located in New York State within the within the last 12 months as of the date of the intern application.

OR

A current New York State resident attending or who attended a college or university outside of New York State within the last 12 months as of the date of the intern application. New York State residency, with proof of residency such as rental agreement or utility bills, must have been established prior to the start of the internship.

Those who do not fulfill one of these requirements are not eligible for the position.
